The short answer is to remove Donald Trump from office and issue an apology. I’ll get to the how, but it is the only action that we can take that would be bold enough to give the Iranians pause. The United states has to collectively show Iran that the people of the United States are not on board with the assassination of Gen. Soleimani or continued war in the region.
On to the how. Bandy X. Lee, a professor of psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine recommends that Speaker Pelosi place a 72 hour mental health hold on the president. “As a co-worker, she has the right to have him submit to an involuntary evaluation, but she has not,”
Then in that 72 hour period new individual articles of impeachment are drawn up on the assassination itself, a second on on threatening the war crime of attacking Iran’s cultural sites, and possibly a third on endangering Americans all over the world. Not a lot of evidence would need presenting for the first two and may be able to get through the house quickly. Then a miracle needs to happen in the senate, but short of Iran assuming the role of “bigger person”, this is all we have left.
Speaker Pelosi could have impeached Trump for sexual assault and possibly rape years ago. She also could have blocked the 2020 NDAA without the Rep. Ro Khanna amendment that was stripped out which would have blocked funding for any offensive action in Iran. This shit is on you as well Pelosi.
I am so ashamed to be an American this week and will be scared to be an American in about half of the world possibly for the rest of my life. Fuck you Donald and enablers.
